The Origins of Markol

In the beginning, the founder of the company, Markétka, produced bars at her home in Jevíčko. She used a manual grinder to grind the ingredients. She tested her products on her friends and family. Given positive feedback, she started to distribute her products to health food stores in the neighbourhood. This is how Markol originated and a story of determination, hard work and faith in a good cause started to unfold.

We are still a relatively small company. In spite of that, our bars from Jevíčko have travelled the world as we export them on a regular basis to e.g. Spain, Austria or Estonia.
